If I am planning on breeding, at the first
sign of Momma coming into season I
start giving her a Multi Vitamin. I then
choose my stud dog. My studs are
owned and raised by me.

At about 5 weeks into the possible
pregnancy, I can decide if they are
indeed pregnant. When Momma is
around 54 to 56 days into her 63 day
gestation period, I take her in for x-rays.
This allows me to prepare for whelping.
With my vets expertise, I am able to
determine if the pups are normal size. If
there should be a puppy too large a "C"
would be scheduled just before her due
date. If all looks good, we go home and
make sure all the whelping supplies are
in order.

No expecting mother is ever left alone 1
to 2 weeks before her due date. She
and her portable whelping room go to
work with me every day and errands are
kept to a minimum. One week before
her due date, I begin to take temperature
twice a day. Once her temperature
reaches the whelping point, I watch her
like a hawk.

The second her water breaks the world
comes to a halt. My Mommas will never
whelp without me. Once a pup is born,
and cleaned up a bit, he/she is weighed.
The average size at birth for my TFT's is
3 to 4oz. For my BEAGLES 6 to 8oz.
They are given nick names and loved
and handled every moment I can. At 4
to 5 days old they go to the vet. Momma
gets her after whelping check up, and
babies get their tails and dew claws
done. BEAGLE BABES will get their due
claws removed and 3 to 5 days old.

My TFT puppies stay with me until they
are at least nine weeks old. At 9 weeks
old average weight of my pups is just
2lbs. They receive shots and are
wormed at 6 & 9 weeks, and if they are
still with me at 12 weeks they also
receive their 12 week shot. All TFT's are
UKC reg. and soon will all be AKC as
well.

My BEAGLE BABES do not go home
until 8 weeks of age or older. All
BEAGLE BABES are AKC & UKC reg
for field and confirmation. Shots are
started at 6 weeks of age and given
every 3 weeks as long as they are in my
care.

Puppies are sent home with puppy kits
that contain shot records, birth weight, a
small bag of the puppy food they have
been eating, a blanket, and toys they
have been sharing with their siblings
and momma. As well as your copy of
the buyer signed buyer contract. All
puppies come with a contract whether
you are offer a show home or not. I do
not and never will ship my TFT pups or
adult dogs via cargo. However, BEAGLE
BABES can be shipped but I would
prefer not to. Shipping is at the owners
expense and I will not be responsible for
anything that might happen to a
shipped puppy.
