Hi, Laurie, I wanted to drop you a note about Marty and our amazing adventure with him. As you know, Katie got Marty from you so she would have company when she moved away. Last year at this time she moved back home until her wedding. While she and Marty were living here our house was under construction with a new add-on being built. The addition had a basement also and we had to keep the back door locked so that no one went out that door because it opened to the hole of the new basement addition, an 8 foot drop. One night an elderly neighbor with bad knees came over to see the addition. I didn't want to have him walk down the stairs to see, so I opened up the door. My own dog, a White German Shepard was always eager to go out, but we blocked the opening so she couldn't get out even with the door open. Marty NEVER went outside first, he always waited for Frost to lead the way. But this night Marty decided to leap through the barricade and literally flew through the door way and dropped down 8 to 9 feet to the bottom of the new addition. I thought I was going find a very injured or possibly a dead pup. After I ran downstairs and opened the existing door in the basement there STOOD Marty. Shaken, but very much alive. The next morning Katie noticed that he wasn't wagging his little stubby tail at all. In fact, he wasn't even holding it up and it was tender. Our family was seeing a wonderful Chiropractor at this time and I explained to him what had happened to Little Marty. Dr. Bill Tickel told me to bring him in and he would take a look at him. He did a full exam and made a some adjustments to Mart's backside and hip area. Believe it or not about an hour later we noticed that Marty started lifting his tail up more and more. By the next day he had full use of his little tail again! Dr. Tickel said he was also bruised a bit on his back side and needed ice and TLC. Unbelievable but true! Dr. Tickel did see Marty one more time about a week later to make sure all was healed and that no more adjustments were needed. Since then I have talked to a few other people who have taken their pets to Chiropractors. They have also said it has helped their pets with their spines just like humans. I wanted to pass this on to you so that you can pass this on to others to let them know that Chiropractors can help not only humans but pets as well. It was worth it! Thanks so much, Cathy Stiens Montgomery,Oh. |

| Hi Laurie, I you might like a couple of pictures. They are hard to take because they move too much except when they are sleepy. We have been really busy but I wanted to let you know the puppies are doing very well. The kids decided to name “Yogi” Lucky so that’s his name. They are a joy to us and are healthy and happy. Lola likes to sleep more than Lucky does but she is an early riser and he isn’t so they balance out really well. He is still very timid but doing much better. She is definitely in control and has such a bubbly personality. Lucky is a thinker and more calm. We love them and are so glad we got two! I changed jobs and have been very focused on that and taking care of the babies. I do get to work from home and they love it when I stay home. I wanted you to know how well they were doing. We can’t imagine life without Lucky. He is so well behaved and calm. Lola is just a joy. She is great with the kids and so loving. They have a great time together and love to go for walks (when it’s warm). They hate the cold! They are doing very well on their leashes. I am having them spayed and neutered in a couple of weeks. My veterinarian wanted to wait until they were 6 months old. I hope they do well. I am kind of scared to take them. They are absolutely perfect to us! Take care! Thanks again, Diane Grosvenor |
